3 INDOOR LOW MAINTENANCE PLANTS

ALOE VERA PLANT

The aloe vera plant is an easy, attractive succulent plant that makes for a great indoor addition to any room. This plant is great to have around too, as the juice from their leaves can be used to relieve pain from scrapes and burns when applied topically. The aloe vera plant needs a location that offers bright, indirect sunlight. Water aloe vera plants deeply, but infrequently, about every 3 weeks.

Please note: The juice from the aloe vera leaves can be used topically but should not be ingested by people or pets because it can cause unwanted symptoms such as nausea or indigestion.

SPIDER PLANT

The spider plant is a funky plant that adds visual interest to any room. They come in a variety of sizes. They do well with evenly moist soil and an environment with sunlight. It is best to provide a space that has indirect sunlight as hot sunlight can burn their leaves. Room temperature keeps them thriving and they only need to be watered about once a week, keeping the soil moist but not soggy.

PEACE LILY PLANT

The peace lily plant is a vibrant and graceful perennial with its curving white blooms and dark leaves. It certainly adds life to any space! It is also easy to grow. It prefers humidity and also minimal light, therefore it is great in a room with few windows. If you are wondering how often it should be watered, the answer is to wait until the plant has a slight droop.

Please note: Peace lily plants are harmful to indoor pets, therefore should be kept in a home where there are no fur babies.
